Original Fine Art
 |
Pam was influenced by art at an early age through childhood classes
at the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio. Her formal education and
training was achieved through earning a degree in Fine Art at Hartford
Art School and the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut.
She spent a year at the Academiè de Port Royal in Paris, France focusing
on painting. Pam has lived in northern New Mexico since 1994 and finds
an abundance of inspiration from which her work flows. Pam’s art is best
described as interpretive realism. Her work provides the viewer with an
accurate depiction of the image as well as the mood, character, and
personality of her subjects. She has implemented art therapy sessions
at facilities for children and for adults seeking healing. She has also
used her artistic talents to promote and benefit the conservation of our
environment. She also enjoys capturing the beautiful New Mexico wildlife
and landscapes. She works in pastel, oil, graphite, pen and ink, and
watercolor. Pam
does custom portraits of both people and their beloved pets. |
